Vegas for me was the middle point of my trip and now heading back to NYC I knew I had to make the most of my final few weeks in this amazing city and to get my fix of living the American Dream.
This trip had been everything I could have wanted and more. Allowing me to see old friends, make new ones, travel to places I had never been and just chill the hell out – if you know me well, you know I have a hard time relaxing.
I took as many classes as I could and made sure I was able to see everyone that I could. My friends told me about a great venture for the performing arts world called Stage Door Connections. This allows you to take classes with professionals in the business like casting directors and choreographers etc. I was able to take class with the choreographer of Cinderella at the world renowned Alvin Ailey Studios.
Me and my friends also went upstate to partake in the craze that is Apple picking. Fall in NYC is beautiful so we drove about an hour and half upstate to a town called Beacon. It was stunning and so nice to see the countryside of NY. Feeling like such a local we ran around picking apples and drinking cider.
I was also in NYC for Halloween! I feel that Halloween ends once you grow up in the UK. Of course you can still go out and people dress up but in NY and America in general it is a whole other ball game. Halloween for me was a crazy crazy night and I am so thankful for it!

I can’t stress how much Travel can enrich your life. Allowing you to come out of your comfort zone and experience the unknown. Making some truly amazing memories I cant wait to get back out there. Being a work-a-holic I am sure this is the same feeling people get when they back pack across Europe or Asia for an extended period.
I hope you have enjoyed my journey and why don’t you go out there and live your American Dream or whatever your travel destination dream is 🙂
